One of the Good Ones…

This is my favorite music video I’ve seen. If you haven’t seen it watch first and then come back to my thoughts…….

To begin, I love that the video features a woman with a disabilty in a love story.  We don’t feel sorry for her rather we are happy she found “one of the good ones.” It’s not revealed she’s in a wheelchair until the end when he helps her dance with him. It’s clever and allows the viewer to see a love story that isn’t often portrayed this way in Hollywood. Often people with disabilities are seen as inspiring or secondary characters. But this puts her front and center of a love story we all can appreciate! What do you think about this video?
